Brainis has two levels of access control: what someone is in the organization, and what they can do in each module.
Organization roles
| Role | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, including billing and deletion |
| Admin | Manage settings, members, and all modules |
| Member | Normal user; module access set per module |
| Guest | Limited external collaborator |
Per-module levels
Within each OS a person is a viewer, member, manager, or admin. A salesperson might be a manager in Revenue OS and a viewer in Finance OS. This is what keeps sensitive modules like Finance and People safe without locking people out of everything.
Invite presets
When you invite someone you can pick a preset that sets sensible module levels in one click: Plain Employee, Account Executive, Sales Manager, RevOps, Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and more. Presets are a starting point; you can adjust any module level afterward in Admin, Users and Roles.
Inviting
Go to Admin, Users and Roles, and send invitations by email. Invitees land in onboarding with their role already applied. Pending invitations can be revoked at any time.
Tip: Every employee gets My Space regardless of module access - their own profile, time off, pay stubs, and personal settings. You do not need to grant module access for self-service basics.
