People OS is the HR system, and it absorbed several modules that used to stand alone. Payroll, Performance, Learning, Rewards, and Wellness are now sections inside it rather than separate destinations.
What it covers
- ›Directory and org chart: employee records, reporting lines, departments.
- ›Time and attendance: time off requests, balances, approvals, and calendars.
- ›Growth: onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, goals, succession, skills.
- ›Compensation: pay, comp reviews, benefits, total rewards.
- ›Planning: headcount planning, handbook, lifecycle automation.
- ›Admin: documents, letters, background checks, assets, analytics.
Sensitivity
People data is the most sensitive in the platform. Module levels matter more here than anywhere else: most employees should be viewers who see the directory, while compensation and documents sit behind manager and admin levels. See Roles and permissions.
The public API deliberately excludes compensation and personal identifiers from employee reads.
