Finance OS

Finance OS overview

Invoices, expenses, budgets, vendors, and reporting, connected to the deals and projects that generate them.

1 min read

Finance OS covers the money side: what you invoice, what you spend, and what you plan.

What it covers

  • Transactions: invoices, recurring invoices, expenses, and approvals.
  • Planning: budget planner, chart of accounts, balance sheet, reports.
  • Operations: vendors, tax preparation, multi-currency.

Why connection matters

Because Finance shares a data layer with Revenue and Work, an invoice can reference the deal that produced it and the project that delivered it. That link is what makes project profitability and realization answerable without a reconciliation exercise.

Permissions

Finance is a restricted module by default. Most people need no access at all; those who do usually need viewer or member rather than admin.

AI in Finance

Conservative by design. Cortex forecasts cash flow, flags late-payment risk, and detects cash gaps ahead; financial verbs carry high risk classes, so actions route through approval at most autonomy levels.
