Accounts and contacts are the shared spine between sales, delivery, support, and finance.
Accounts
An account is a company: name, domain, industry, size, and owner. Because Brainis shares one data layer, the account view can show its deals, its projects, its invoices, and its support history together. That cross-module view is the reason to keep accounts clean.
Contacts
People, attached to accounts. Contacts carry role, seniority, and relationship strength; the stakeholder map shows who matters on a given deal and where you have coverage gaps.
Enrichment and quality
AI enrichment fills gaps in company data. Data-quality tooling finds duplicates and stale records, which matter more than most teams think: duplicate accounts silently split pipeline and make forecasts wrong.
Merging
Merge duplicates rather than deleting them; merging preserves history and references from other modules.
Important: Match on domain for companies and email for people, never on name. Name matching is how two different customers become one record.
