Credit spend is fully itemized so there are no surprise bills.
Where to look
Settings, Credits shows your live balance: plan credits remaining this month, top-up reserve, and a line-itemed history of every AI action with its cost - who or what triggered it, in which module, and when.
Reading the history
Spend falls into three buckets:
- ›Interactive - questions your team asked, AI assists they clicked. Small, frequent costs (1-2 credits).
- ›Agent and Autopilot runs - scheduled or triggered work (5-6 credits per run). This is where unattended spend lives, so review it when a balance moves faster than expected.
- ›Deep work - deep analyses (10) and decision simulations (8) that someone explicitly requested.
Controlling spend
- ›Expensive operations show their cost before you confirm.
- ›Agent schedules and Autopilot rules can be paused at any time; a paused agent costs nothing.
- ›Authority contracts can cap how often an agent may act per hour, which also caps its spend. See Authority contracts.
Important: When your balance reaches zero, AI features pause and scheduled runs are skipped - nothing is queued up to bill against a future allowance. Modules and data are unaffected.
