01 / Who this is for

Brainis vs NAVEX

You use NAVEX today and want to know if Brainis replaces it, works next to it, or isn’t for you. The honest answer is below, including where NAVEX wins.

NAVEX is infrastructure for regulated compliance. Brainis keeps its own agents in check. It isn't a compliance platform and claims no certification.

02The difference

NAVEX runs compliance programmes. Brainis keeps its own work in check.

NAVEX's job (hotlines, managing your company's rules, disclosures, supplier risk) sits next to Operations AI in Brainis, not inside it. Brainis sets limits on what its own agents may do, records why, and shows proof of it. That's a different job from running your compliance programme.

NAVEX is a risk and compliance platform. In Brainis, that job belongs to Operations AI, working with the rest of Brainis.

NAVEX → Operations AI, in Brainis

03When NAVEX is enough

Stay on NAVEX if this is you.

This isn't a setup. If one of these sounds like your company, NAVEX is the better buy, and we'd rather you hear it here.

  • You have a regulated compliance programme to run

Whistleblower hotlines, confirming people have read the rules, and managing disclosures are specialist duties with specialist software.

  • Supplier risk is part of your duty

Checking and screening suppliers is its own discipline.

  • Auditors already accept your NAVEX evidence

Changing what an auditor accepts is a cost with no upside.

04When you need Brainis

What Brainis adds, and the part that does it.

Each one names the part of Brainis doing the work (Company State, missions, Verify, what I do on my own) and links the page that proves it.

  • When you need proof of what your AI did

Every action that matters stays inside limits you set, and leaves a record you can check.

See what I do on my own →
  • When a stop needs an investigation, not a shrug

When I stop, I seal a chained snapshot of what I saw, what I was told and where things stood, and the investigation runs as a mission.

See what I do on my own →
  • When your compliance team wants the proof pack

The same systems that run the company create the pack. It maps your controls and attaches the proof. It is not a certification.

05Side by side

Grouped by what Brainis actually does.

Only things you can check. The NAVEX column says what NAVEX does, and never claims a weakness we haven't checked. Where NAVEX is better, the row says so.

Decide

How the next move gets chosen.

  • Options mapped before a path is recommended

    • NAVEX

Not what a risk and compliance platform is for.

      Brainis

I map the options first. Change a limit, and my recommendation changes with it.

    • NAVEX

Programme reports over past cases and rules. Business predictions aren't recorded or graded.

      Brainis

07Pricing

What each of us charges for.

NAVEX is priced by quote, scoped to your programme. Brainis publishes its prices: seats and how much I may do on my own per plan, plus AI credits. There's no sensible price comparison between the two, and pretending otherwise is exactly what this page exists to avoid.

Brainis is free to start. Paid plans start at $29 a month. See Pricing →
