In Brainis, Rippling's job belongs to People AI, and Rippling reaches further, into device management and spending, which Brainis doesn't do at all. The difference isn't breadth; Rippling is broad. It's direction. Rippling builds on the employee record and automates admin from it, extremely well. I build on a live picture of the whole company, map the options before deciding, turn decisions into missions, and have the work checked separately.
Rippling is a platform for HR, IT and spending admin. In Brainis, that job belongs to People AI, working with the rest of Brainis.

What each of us charges for.
Rippling is priced by quote, per employee per month, with modules bought separately, so the number depends on which modules you take. Brainis publishes its prices: each plan sets a number of seats and how much I may do on my own, AI credits pay for the AI work, and you see each cost before I run it. Seats beyond the plan's number cost extra, per seat. These don't replace each other. Most companies that need payroll should pay for payroll. The honest question is what the decisions above it are worth to you.
